The belt is an armchair with arms, part of the collection of the same name. ‎The culture behind the distinctive features with inspiration belt family designs for all-fabric or leather versions is the idea of a belt that Outlines the body, surrounds it, and then breaks and fastens in front of the seat. ‎In particular, in the leather version, which was stitched on a slice of bonded leather, in order to provide support and to ensure a uniform thickness: it is suitable for coating, like a belt is applied in a dress, and need an ultra precision process to follow the curved shape of the seat and make visible seams remain completely straight and even. ‎

In its classic shape, the foam body is designed with a shell that surrounds the backrest, welcoming and protecting. ‎The seat sits on a die-cast aluminum base with a polished brandy-colored contact-resistant paint that enhances the armchair's shine and recalls the metallic finish of a fine leather bag in its leather edition. ‎The family consisted of a sofa, an armchair, a Bagelaire with a footstool, a smaller arm-chair, and a small dining armchair with legs.
